An afternoon in the park

I needed to get out of my house for a bit, so I spent a little time at a small city park. Nothing special, just a little spot to get some fresh air.

So, if it looks like all of these creatures were looking at me with hungry eyes… it’s because they were. They have very clearly been fed by practically every human being to walk in the park. They, including the fish, walked over to me and waited for a snack.

A little bit of Fall left
Hagerstown, MD
In hopes to catch a final glimpse of fall, I stopped at a small local city park this afternoon. Hey, what can I say, I now carry my camera with me at all times. You just never know when the whim to take a few photos will strike.
Swans
As a nice surprise, a pair of beautiful white swans sped over to welcome me. Obviously they assumed I stopped by specifically to feed them lunch, and left just as quickly after realizing that wasn’t the case.
Fall Colors
Unfortunately, I missed out on the leaves being at their peak this fall. Time has gotten away from me, I guess. So, this is about all I was able to get in my desperate attempt to catch the tail-end of the season. There’s always next year, but, at least it was a nice refreshing stop in the middle of my day. Bonus!
